Electrical Installation Condition Report
Also known as EICR or Electrical Safety Inspection. Mandated by law, you may be required to get this test done by regular intervals. As of July 31 2020, EICR tests must be carried out when selling or renting out your property.
A detailed inspection of electrical equipment (circuit breakers, residual-current device) that is suitable for showing whether it compliant to all the criteria of the relevant standards or equivalent technical regulations. Furthermore, a complete review of the electrical system during periodic tests, which includes the tests of the electrical equipment's protection against electric shock and its general standard condition (of a fire protection nature).
Inspections must be carried out by a qualified electrician
The issued report contains the measurements and the evaluation of the results, a list of all issues found.
